There are a few perks to my job and no better way to spend a few hours than at a track day! I had a great afternoon at Weston Airport photographing the Home of quattro event. This 3 day bespoke event was superbly organised and managed by Pluto Communications and it was one of the best set designs I have seen, amazing what you can do in an aircraft hangar!
Guests took part in three different Audi Driving experiences and best for me was the spin around the track in the Audi RS6 when we got over 230 km/h or 140mph! Hopefully next job will be to go and pick up one of these myself!! The Audi quattro Cup Final was held at Mount Juliet golf course, followed by a reception in the Lyrath Estate hotel. After a summer of qualifying competitions held throughout Ireland the pressure was on for the trip of a lifetime to the Audi quattro Cup World Final at the Los Angeles Trump National Golf Course.
It proved to be a close finish with the winners Clement Hehir and Tom Barrett representing Audi Cork. Good luck to the guys on what should be an amazing trip! Follow this link for all the images from the day Audi quattro Cup 2013 As part of the EPA Congress there was food, drinks and entertainment at the Guinness Storehouse and here are some images from the excellent musicians.
Every two years the European Parking Association organises an international congress that discusses the perspectives and challenges of stationary traffic in connection with the traffic development in the cities of Europe. This year the 16th EPA Congress was held in the Convention Centre Dublin and was attended by experts from all over the world. As well as the conference during the day attendees and their guests enjoyed a drinks reception in Trinity and an evening in the Guinness Storehouse. It was a great 3 day event organised by Abbey Conference & Corporate and the Irish Parking Association.

The George Hook show on Newstalk was also broadcast live from the venue on the day and allowed for a few opprtunities with guests.
